Novel Writing Studio
Summer Session
Taught by Lita Kurth
For adults and mature teens
Session dates coming soon for Summer 2022
In this class, open to beginning and advanced writers alike, we will cover all you need to know to get your novel or novel-idea up and running. Want to know how to come up with a novel idea? How to plot your novel? How to create a complex character? How to balance description and dialogue? When to end your chapters? How to motivate yourself to keep writing? Each class meeting will cover a new topic in novel writing. You will also have time to work on story-generative exercises in class, along with sharing your work, ideas, and conundrums in a supportive setting. Whether you have the dream of writing a novel or a draft already in your desk drawer, this class will help you take your work to the next level while building a writing community.
