About Us

Creator School was founded in the summer of 2015 by two Gunn High School teachers who had a vision: to provide Bay Area teens the opportunity to learn in a rigorous, positive, fun, creative environment.

 

We offer only small, personalized courses taught only by highly qualified teachers who are experts in their craft.

 

Since that first summer, we have expanded to include offerings for middle school students and adults. We have focused our work on inspiring our next generation of creative writers and supporting rising seniors through the college essay writing process.  

Our courses are designed for students with an interest in creative writing, although no experience is required. For reluctant writers, or for those who want support in academic writing, Creator School recommends Palo Alto Writing Academy.
